As part of the LAX Ammunition family - one of Southern California's largest ammo retailers - the range offers unlimited firearm rentals for $30, five membership tiers from $70/month to $595/year, discounted lane rental for law enforcement, veterans, and military at $20, beginning and refresher firearms training, security guard firearm qualification, and some of the most accessible shooting sports pricing in Los Angeles. A separate LAX Ammo retail store at 234 Hindry Ave completes the one-stop shooting sports destination.

The LAX Firing Range at 927 W Manchester Blvd is open Monday through Friday 11am to 10pm, Saturday 10:30am to 10pm, and Sunday 10:30am to 5pm. The LAX Ammo retail store at 234 Hindry Ave has separate hours - Monday through Thursday 9am to 6pm, Friday 9am to 8pm, Saturday 10:30am to 8pm, and Sunday 10:30am to 5pm.
Lane rental is $30 per hour per person when you purchase LAX ammunition, or $35 per hour without a LAX ammo purchase. High-power rifle and shotgun lanes are $30 per hour with LAX ammo required. Law enforcement, veterans, and active military receive a discounted rate of $20 per lane per hour. A $2 setup fee applies to first-time visitors only. Targets are $1.50 each.
Unlimited firearm rentals are available for $30 - try as many rental firearms as you like during your session. Non-LAX pistol ammo incurs a $5 additional charge. All rifle and shotgun ammunition must be purchased through LAX retail or the range. Outside rifle and shotgun ammo is not permitted to protect range equipment and ammunition quality standards.
LAX offers five membership tiers. The 1-Month membership is $70 and includes free range time, 50% off gun rentals, a discount for first-time guests, and 10% off LAX and Freedom single-box ammo. The 6-Month membership is $250 with the same benefits. The Annual membership is $395 and adds 5% off 250-round bulk ammo. The Family membership is $595 and includes all annual benefits plus 10% off 250-round bulk ammo and the option to add family members at $150 each. The Platinum membership is also $595 and includes all annual benefits plus a front-of-the-line pass, $5 firearm rentals, 11% off single-box ammo, and 10% off merchandise. Range time for all memberships is limited to one hour on days with wait times.
Yes. Active law enforcement, veterans, and active military receive a discounted lane rental rate of $20 per hour with valid credentials.
LAX allows all handgun calibers, as well as high-powered rifles and shotguns. Shotguns may be used with 00 buckshot or slug rounds only. All rifle and shotgun ammunition must be purchased at the LAX range or LAX retail store - outside rifle and shotgun ammo is not permitted. Non-LAX pistol ammo is permitted with a $5 additional charge.
Yes. LAX offers Beginning Firearms Training and Refresher Firearms Training courses at the range. Classes are scheduled periodically - visit laxrange.com or call 310-568-1515 for current class dates and pricing.
Yes. LAX Firing Range offers security guard firearms training and qualification courses. California requires armed security guards to qualify with their firearm periodically - LAX provides this service on a scheduled basis. Contact the range at 310-568-1515 for details and scheduling.
