A true all-disciplines destination, it offers pistol, rifle, shotgun, and archery shooting plus a deep training program, all open to the public - no membership required, just a range card and safety orientation. The facility includes pistol bays (7-25 yards), a rifle range extending to 600 yards with an electronic target system, trap and 5-Stand shotgun fields, an archery range, and a dedicated competition range for steel, 2-Gun and 3-Gun. A full gun store and archery pro shop, an indoor classroom, and the Machine Gun Alley full-auto rental experience round out the site, which also serves as the host training facility for the Citrus County Sheriff's Office. Pricing is built around an annual range card: a Day Card (Blue) is 30 dollars with day-use fees (pistol/rifle to 100 yards 18/hour or 20/day, trap or 5-Stand 9.50 per 25 clays, archery 5), while Level 1 (299), Level 2 (399), and Level 3 (499) cards add reduced 2-dollar use fees, steel and long-range access, and fast-pass entry, with 99-dollar family add-on cards. Discounts are offered to veterans, military, police, fire, rescue, and teachers. Outpost's instructors - including a retired Green Beret and a retired US Army sniper instructor - teach Florida concealed carry (CWFL), handgun and defensive pistol/rifle tactics, multi-day long-range workshops out to 1,000 yards, night shoots, and the two-day Defender Package (499). With its variety, expert coaching, women's shoot club, leagues, and NSSF 5-Star rating, Outpost Range is Citrus County's premier outdoor shooting destination.
