Calibers Shooting Centers is New Mexico's premier indoor shooting range and gun shop operator, with two full-service locations in Albuquerque. The Eastside location at 4340 Cutler Ave NE features 24 shooting positions all rated for .50 BMG, two 40-person classrooms, an on-site lounge, and a gunsmith available Tuesday through Saturday. The facility maintains a consistent 71-degree temperature with high-volume HEPA air filtration removing 99.97% of airborne particulates. Range fees for non-members are $12.49 on Mondays, $24.99 Tuesday through Friday, and $29.99 on weekends. Special rates apply for law enforcement ($19.99), teens ages 13-17 ($14.99), children ages 8-12 (free), and ladies on Thursdays ($14.99). Rental firearms include handguns ($15), rifles ($25), and machine guns ($49.99). Members enjoy free all-day range use and 25% off all rentals (Platinum tier). Training includes USCCA-certified courses such as Home Defense, New Mexico Concealed Carry Handgun License (Sections 1, 7, and 8), CCW Refresher, Introduction to Handguns, and NSSF First Shots. Calibers also offers a unique 'Shoot While You Wait' program — purchase a firearm and use it on-range during New Mexico's 7-day waiting period.
