The range features 24 climate-controlled lanes across three separate 25-yard bays that accommodate both handguns and rifles, with automated target retrieval, ballistic-glass lane dividers, state-of-the-art air filtration, and certified Range Safety Officers on duty at all times. Walk-ins are welcome seven days a week (the range is closed Tuesdays), and lanes can be reserved online. Green Top offers an extensive firearm rental program featuring brands like Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Staccato, and Ruger, plus a Try Before You Buy program tied to the retail store - purchase a firearm and receive one hour of free range time and 25% off your next class. Training is led by NRA-certified instructors and spans beginner courses (First Shots, Pistol 101), Virginia Concealed Carry Permit (Basic CCP), holster skills, AR-15 and red-dot fundamentals, and advanced Executive Self Protection courses, including Ladies-Only options. Membership plans for individuals and families (with Standard, Senior 62+, and First Responder tiers) include unlimited range time, six free guest passes and six free gun rentals per year, 10% off training, members-only weekend hours (Sat & Sun 9-10am), and priority reservations. Lanes: 24 (25 yards)
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10am-7pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm (members-only 9-10am on weekends). We are closed Tuesdays. Last shooter is taken one hour prior to close.

Shooters must be 21 or accompanied by someone 21 or older. Shooters ages 13-20 must be accompanied by an adult 21+ and meet a minimum height of 42 inches. No one under 13 is allowed on the range.
Weekday (Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri) walk-in is 30/hr for the first shooter (25/hr for LEO, military, EMS) and 15 per additional shooter. Weekend (Sat/Sun) is 35/hr first shooter (30/hr LEO/military/EMS) and 20 per additional shooter.
Yes. Rentals are 15/hr for one handgun or long gun and 20/hr for two, with ear protection at 4/hr. Two people 21+ must be present for walk-in firearm rentals. We carry Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Staccato and more.
NRA-certified instructors teach First Shots (75), Pistol 101 (135), Basic CCP / VA Concealed Carry (100), Basic and Intermediate Holster (75), Intro to AR-15 (135), Intro to Red Dot Sight (100), Handgun Cleaning (35), Shoot/Don't Shoot (150), and Executive Self Protection 1-3 (300 each), with Ladies-Only options. Private lessons are available by appointment.
Yes. Individual and Family memberships come in Standard, Senior (62+), and First Responder tiers, monthly or annual. Individual monthly runs 25-40/mo; family monthly 35-55/mo. All include unlimited range time, 6 guest passes, 6 free rentals, 10% off training, and members-only weekend hours.
Yes, if it meets our safety requirements. We do not allow tracer, steel core, steel jacket/penetrator, magnum rifle loads, unjacketed, or armor-piercing rounds. Maximum rifle caliber is 30-06; rifle ammo is inspected on entry. Shotguns may use 00, 000, or slug (no birdshot or dragon's breath) and must have stocks.

Bring a valid ID and wear closed-toe shoes; long pants and high-neck shirts are recommended to protect against hot brass. First-time visitors must complete a waiver before shooting.
