The Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) Range is an NSSF 5-Star rated outdoor shooting facility in Bonfield, Illinois, operated by the ISRA - the state's oldest and largest firearms and Second Amendment organization. It is a private, member-owned range offering an exceptional breadth of disciplines on a single property southwest of Chicago. The range features over 250 firing positions spread across 12 separate ranges, supporting centerfire and air rifle, centerfire and air pistol, F-Class competition, long-range precision shooting, black powder and muzzleloading, and trap. Climate-controlled classroom facilities host regular educational programs, training, and competitive marksmanship events throughout the year. Access is members-only. Joining the range requires a separate ISRA membership plus Range membership, and members must be 21 or older. Range membership carries a one-time 100-dollar initiation fee (first year only), with annual Range Dues of 250 (American Hero 225 for active/retired law enforcement, fire, first responders, military and veterans; Senior 65+ 175; American Hero Senior 150; Range Family 80). Lifetime Range memberships are available at 5,000 (American Hero 4,500). Two work days per year are required for members under 59, or an optional 80-dollar pre-pay.
