Triangle Shooting Academy is North Carolina's premier firearm destination, built around the motto 'Educate. Advocate. Train.' Located at 6501 Mt Herman Road in Raleigh, the facility combines an indoor shooting range, archery range, on-site Nero Pizza cafe, full retail store, and one of the Triangle region's most structured firearms training programs. The range features a Reflex Target System, semi-automatic and full-auto/belt-fed firearm rentals, and archery. An Annual Range Card ($15, valid 1 year) is required for all range visitors. Lane rentals are $23/hr Mon-Thu and $25/hr Fri-Sun, with the Firearm Rental Program at $20/lane/hr allowing unlimited model swaps. Sub-machine guns rent for $50/hr, machine guns $75/hr, and belt-fed machine guns $100/hr. Weekly specials include Ladies Day (all day Tuesday), Seniors Special (Wednesday), and Date Night (Thursday). The training catalog runs from beginner through advanced in a progressive structure: Basic Handgun ($125), Women's Basic Handgun ($125), Youth Basic Handgun ($75), New Shooter Session ($75), Intro to AR ($125), Handgun Cleaning ($50), Intermediate Pistol ($165), NC Concealed Carry Course ($125, 9-10 hours), Intermediate AR ($150), and a four-level Defensive Pistol Series (DP1-DP4, $150-$175 each) plus Concealed Carry 2 and Red Dot Pistol. Private Instruction is $95/hr for up to 2 students and includes firearm rental, eye protection, and targets. FFL transfers, buy/sell/trade, NFA Eform 4 processing, and holster qualification programs are available. Memberships start at $41.99/mon with veteran and senior discounts.

For $20 per lane per hour you can swap between any standard rental firearms as many times as you want — try a pistol, then a rifle, then a shotgun, all on the same rental fee. If you decide to purchase a firearm you rented that same day, the rental cost is refunded. Does not include automatic rentals. Rental ammo must be purchased from Triangle on the day of the visit.
Triangle rents sub-machine guns ($50/hr per firearm), machine guns ($75/hr), and belt-fed machine guns ($100/hr). Shooters must be 21 or older to handle, rent, or operate any automatic rental.
