Stock & Barrel Gun Club is Minnesota's premier indoor shooting range and training facility, with its flagship location in Chanhassen at Dell Road and Highway 5 in the southwest Twin Cities metro. Designed with a relaxed, rustic club-like feel, the facility pairs a state-of-the-art shooting range with a pro shop, rental counter, lounge, and full training academy. The range is open to the public, and with more than 400 Google reviews averaging 4.6 stars, it is one of the most popular shooting destinations in the metro. The range offers 14 shooting lanes, each 25 yards long with digitally controlled target retrieval systems and total steel containment traps. Shooting stalls feature comfortable benches separated by rough-sawn wood dividers that are eight inches wider than standard range stalls. The ventilation system exchanges air every 90 seconds and moves hospital-grade clean air downrange at a controlled 75 feet per minute to prevent lead exposure. The range accommodates all pistol calibers and rifles up to .50 caliber (excluding .50 BMG). A Laser Shot virtual range provides realistic simulator training without ammunition costs. The Stock & Barrel Training Academy takes a holistic approach built on safety, education, and training. Offerings include the Minnesota Permit to Carry course (the club's most popular class), individual classes, private lessons, and third-party instructor qualifications. The club also hosts competition leagues, private parties, and corporate events with flexible event spaces that can be paired with exclusive shooting packages. Membership comes in three levels: the Liberty Club shooting membership eliminates lane fees and allows lane reservations up to 14 days in advance; the exclusive Caliber Club adds a private members-only clubhouse with private shooting lanes, leather chairs, a cigar lounge, non-alcoholic wet bar, fireplace, firearm storage lockers, and 24/7 keycard access; and a Corporate Membership serves business teams and corporate events. The pro shop stocks a large selection of firearms, ammunition, and accessories, and the club handles FFL transfers, NFA items, and firearm buy/trade through The Vault. A second location serves the east metro in Eagan.
