No. You do not need to be a USPSA member to participate in APSC matches. Competitors without a USPSA number may still shoot and will be tracked accordingly.

Yes. APSC welcomes new and first-time competitive shooters and prides itself on a fun, supportive community atmosphere. New shooters will receive guidance on how matches work and stage procedures. If you have never shot a USPSA or Steel Challenge match before, come early on match day and let the staff know - they will walk you through everything.
APSC holds its matches at the Austin Rifle Club at 16312 Littig Rd, Manor TX 78653 - Ranges G through L. The range is approximately 20 minutes east of central Austin.
